Dear Potential Sponsor,
We are the Ice Prowlers High School Club Hockey Program. Our Varsity and JV club ice hockey teams are made up of high school hockey players from the Pickerington Local, Reynoldsburg City, Licking Heights Local (Pataskala), Southwest Licking (Pataskala), Canal Winchester Local and Groveport Madison School districts. The Ice Prowlers participate as a member of the Greater Columbus High School Club Hockey League (GCHSCHL). As a club hockey team, we receive no financial assistance from our respective schools. As a result, our players are responsible for paying all team fees, and with our annual budget approaching $50,000.00 to cover ice times, referees and other hockey related fees, this can sometimes be overwhelming.
Ice Prowler Hockey has established its program as a winner on the ice and its players continue to excel in the classroom and community. The 2007-2008 season culminated with the Prowlers winning their forth GCHSCHL Regular Season Championship in the past five years. The team also represented their league and central Ohio in the forth annual Buckeye Cup Ohio State Championship Tournament as the number one seed out of Columbus.
Our 2008-2009 season commences with our first game in October of 2008, and concludes with our club league tournament (GCHSCHL Blue Jackets Cup) in February, 2009, and a potential bid back to the Buckeye Cup Ohio State Championship Tournament in March, 2009. With that, we look to continue our winning traditions this season with you as a part of our family.
This year you have the opportunity to join a proven winner. As a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization, we are seeking sponsorship/donations from various businesses in our communities. This assistance is in the form of tax deductible monetary donations or services (attached you will find a listing of suggested contribution levels).
In return for your contribution we will support your business with advertising. As a hockey club, we have a large banner that hangs proudly at the Chiller at Easton ice rink on the east side of Columbus. On this banner we list the business names of all of our proud sponsors (in varying font size dependant on donation level). This banner hangs continually, year round (during all events) and is an excellent form of advertisement for our sponsors. Our sponsors are also provided exposure through our website www.ProwlerHockey.com (with varying prominence dependant on donation level).
For those of you who are continuing your relationship with Prowler Hockey, we would like to thank you for your repeated support. For those of you who are interested in joining the Ice Prowler Family for the first time, we look forward to working together and thank you in advance for your contribution to Ice Prowler Hockey.
