Andy Shank
Former JV Head Coach (2006-2008)
Biography: Andy began his hockey career in his hometown of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, playing for the Easton Youth Hockey Association (EYHA) Ice Dragons. A member of the PRPC Prowler hockey club from 2000 to 2003, Shank was an integral part of the organizations first ever GCHSCHL Blue Jackets Cup Championship in 2003. In his senior season, Andy finished seventh on the team in goal scoring, netting 8 goals. Andy graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 2003 as one of the top 10 all-time point scorers in Prowler history with 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points over three seasons. Coach Shank began his coaching career in 2005-2006 when he joined the inaugural Prowler JV team as an assistant coach. Andy was quickly promoted to head coach of the JV squad for the 2006-2007 season and led the team to their first ever CHC-JV Blue Jackets Cup Finals. In 2007-2008 Coach Shank brought home the club's first ever Midwest Thanksgiving High School Hockey Classic Championship and lead the JV Prowlers to a 14-1-3 record on the way to their first ever CHC-JV regular season title. Andy is currently a senior at The Ohio State University, majoring in Education and resides in Columbus, Ohio.
