Chris Orem
Former Varsity Head Coach (1998-2002)
Biography: Chris served as the team's head coach from the Ice Prowler Hockey Club's inception in 1998 for the Worthington High School Hockey Club's High School Club Hockey Tournament through the club's 2001-2002 season. Coach Orem lead the program to a 50 W - 41 L - 17 T record over his four seasons behind the bench. In 1998-1999, he guided the team to a second place regualr season league finish in the GCHSCHL's inaugural season. The Prowlers finished in the Final Four of the GCHSCHL's post season tournament over his first three seasons. Orem was joined behind the bench by assistant coach Steve Sherowski and part time assistant/goaltender coach Bill McKenzie (former OSU & NHL goalie and current OSU broadcaster) for the 1998-1999 season. Tom Hess then joined Orem's staff as an assistant coach after the departure of Sherowski and McKenzie. In the summer of 2002, Chris moved on in order to coach his son's youth team in the Easton Youth Hockey Association (EYHA).
